For the first time, all attendees will receive a complementary one-year “iMembership” to the Gospel Music Association which includes the privilege of voting in the annual GMA Dove Awards. As an added incentive for early registration, anyone who registers for IMMERSE before December 31 of this year will be allowed to vote in the 43rd Annual GMA Dove Awards.

Up and coming indie artists, songwriters and future business leaders will all find something to gain from the event which offers unparalleled training, intimate concerts, professional feedback and individual opportunities to connect with music experts. IMMERSE aims to continue to create a sense of community and camaraderie among the attendees and professionals who seek to spread the Gospel through music.
Along with new incentives, IMMERSE will be held at Rocketown in downtown Nashville. Founded by Christian music icon, Michael W. Smith, Rocketown moved into it’s new location earlier this year, creating an environment that both fosters community among the registrants and provides great flexibility for the various production elements unique to the IMMERSE conference.

Rates for IMMERSE 2012 begin at just $199 if registration is submitted before March 31, 2012.

Aside from Murdock, the program will also feature urban jazz harmonicist Frederic Yonnet and vocalist Byron Nichols of the Grammy Award nominated ensemble, Richard Smallwood & Vision. Murdock is best known for her `80s era Top 10 R&B hits such as the gold-selling “As We Lay,” “Go On Without You” and “Husband.” Since 1999, Murdock has recorded three top-tier gospel album including her latest CD, “The Journey” (Tyscot Records).”

It was recorded live at The Broadcast Group Complex in Charlotte, NC. R&B divas Kelly Price, Regina Belle and gospel powerhouse Beverly Crawford performed with Murdock on various tracks. Her current radio single is the Top 25 inspirational ballad, “Dream.” She performed the rousing song at the official Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Dedication ceremony in Washington, D.C. on The Mall where President Obama spoke this past October.

Deitrick Haddon is a American Gospel singer born in the year 1973 on May 17th. He was born to Bishop Clarence Haddon and Joyce Haddon. He was brought up in Detroit, Michigan. He is a great versatile artist and is well known for his amazing vocals, as a gospel singer, songwriter and even a producer.

Currently Deitrick is the pastor for the Detroit’s Kingdom Culture Church, taking over his father’s position. Deitrick Haddon started his musical career from the year 1997 joining and singing in the local choir church. Deitrick Haddon is also well known for his classical music to hip-hop. Deitrick’s mother inspired him to sing and move on to the Gospel music and later he joined the choir of the church and was soon appointed to direct it.

In the 1994 Deitrick signed with Tyscot label and soon the album “Come into The House” was released. In 1997 another album released from the Tyscot records “Live the Life” which earned him two Gospel Music Workshop of America award. In the following year “Chainbreaker” was released and soon after that in the year 2001 “Voices of Unity” was released which was also under the Tyscot label. Deitrick signed with Verity records and launched the first album “Lost & Found” in the year 2002.

Deitrick is still with Tyscot & Verity Records. His latest album released is with Tyscot records which is available now is “Anthology” released in the month of August 2011.

Kierra Sheard is an American Gospel artist who was born on June 20th of 1987 in Detroit, Michigan. Her birth name is Kierra Valencia Sheard. She is one of the renowned artists and a descendent of the Clark family who are famous for Gospel Music, Art & Culture. Kierra is the daughter of Karen Clark Sheard and the grand daughter of the famous Gospel director Mattie Moss Clark. Her childhood days were spent surrounded by gospel and was raised with gospel in her blood.

She started singing for the choir at Emmanuel Institutional Church of God in Christ as the age of 6 and was pastored by her father Bishop J Drew Sheard. She started her career at the age of ten when she performed on tracks for her mother from the album “Finally Karen” which was back in 1997. With excellent teachings, guidance from her mother, and her aunts, she is mature in the craft of music and started singling for the ‘The Clarks Sisters’.

In 2002 Kierra was featured on her aunts Dorinda Clark Cole’s album. In 2003 Kierra signed her first label contract with EMI Gospel. One of her best albums to date is “I Owe You” which was released on September 7, 2004. Other popular album and songs include “This is Me” which was released in 2006. “Bold Right Life” was released in 2008 with the most popular single being “God In Me”.

This latest album ”Free” is already making a great debut in Black Gospel music. Kierra Sheard is a great Gospel artist,  singer & songwriter.
