Nashville, TN - Dubbed "The Melodic Queen of Soul and Inspiration" by her fans, urban singer/songwriter June Rochelle was honored with the "Female Vocalist of the Year" award at this weekend's En Sound Music Awards ceremony, held August 19th in Newark, NJ. During the evening, June performed "For All The Love," from her impressive debut album Changing Places, for which she had also received an En Sound Music Award nomination in the "Song of the Year" category.

Nashville, TN - Former Prince background vocalist and R&B/hip-hop singer, songwriter and producer, Niyoki, will celebrate the August 29, 2006 release of her debut album, My Everything, on D2G Records with a special CD release party. The event is free and open to the public and will take place Monday, August 28th at 6:00 p.m. CST at Rocketown (401 6th Avenue South, Nashville, Tenn.), the evening before the official album launch. Party attendees will be treated to a live performance by Niyoki, and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

June joined an A-list of some of the hottest R&B artists in the country to provide entertainment at the event, including multiple Grammy, Stellar & Dove Award-winning gospel artist, Darius Brooks; Usher's new R&B group, One Chance; South Carolina recording artist Cheri Maree and Chicago natives Elliott Trent and MPrint.

But it doesnt stop there, it is also designed to examine life from a unique perspective that will reach all age groups. The tour consists of power-packed musical performances and ministry by Grammy nominated Holy Hip Hop artist Sean Slaughter, UGA nominated Rhythm & Praise artist Mona J., and girl Dee-jay DJ E-C.L.A.S.S.
