Washington, D. C. -- Gold-selling praise and worship leader, Ron Kenoly, is putting his annual Christmas musical “The Perfect Gift” on the road again. He first launched the show about the birth of Christ in 2001 and has been touring it ever since.
The show features an ensemble cast of characters. The play and the songs were written by Kenoly. In the late 1960s, Kenoly began a career as a nightclub singer and recorded for MCA and A&M Records. After becoming a born-again Christian in 1975, Kenoly left secular music behind and became a Christian recording artist. Since his first album in 1991, Kenoly’s recorded a dozen cds, sold five million records, earned a Dove award. Kenoly’s latest album "Fill the Earth" is a best seller. Many fans call Kenoly “The Professor of Praise.”
