Atlanta, GA (November 18, 2005) – Platinum Records is proud to announce we will be hosting an exclusive VIP Pre-Stellar Praise Party entitled, “Unplugged,” This event will be held at the Gibson Showcase in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday, January 20, between the hours of 4pm and 8pm.
Motor coach shuttle service will be available from the Sheraton and Marriott hotels to the Gibson Showcase, starting at 3:45pm and leaving every 10 minutes.
The showcase promises to be a one of a kind experience, with live entertainment, food, and great music in a relaxed atmosphere and will be hosted by gospel comedian John Gray. The notable gospel artists scheduled to perform will include: Johnny Sanders, The McCauley Project featuring Ann Nesby, The Preacher’s Kid, Danielle Roberson and others to be announced later. Held at the Gibson Showcase across from the Grand Ole Opry, we anticipate the showcase to be a spectacular, yet unique event.

Platinum Records will also present its two annual Commitment to Excellence Awards (“CTE Award”) at the Pre-Stellar Party. The two awards include:
- Community Involvement Commitment to Excellence Award presented to a Gospel Music Industry person that has shown Ethics, Integrity, and a commitment to excellence in their business or community involvement during 2005.
- Gospel Music Industry Professional Commitment to Excellence Award will be presented to a Program Director, Music Director, or Gospel Announcer that has shown ethics, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in their Gospel Music Programming and community during 2005.
