Nashville, TN - Singer/songwriter June Rochelle is no longer the best kept secret in gospel music. The soulful songstress, whose distinctive vocals have been familiar to industry insiders for years, burst onto the national scene earlier this year with the release of her astonishing debut project, Changing Places. Adding to an already impressive string of accolades, Rochelle has just been nominated for two En Sound Music Awards. As Christians, we seem to be constantly battling against issues that require us to take stands based on our beliefs. Do we agree? Or do we not? Having a background in social work, I have always leaned towards respecting people’s beliefs – as long as they respected mine. However, I found myself shying away from topics I knew would end in either agreement or agreement to disagree. |
